ZAP CA Is the thinnest CA in the ZAP product line. The penetrating or wicking ability
of this glue makes it a favourite of modellers around the world. Balsa wood is bonded
almost instantaneously, with the glue sometimes travelling several inches into the
parts. The consistent performance and strength of the glue is what sets it apart
from other brands. This product is also widely used throughout the hobby industry;
the thin formula allows the glue to go where most cannot. Some uses besides hobbies
and crafts include; jewellery manufacturing and repair, taxidermy, mould and pattern
making, furniture refinishing and antique repair, auto detailing, archery, darts,
dental moulds and patterns, and ceramic repair. Wood turners like the penetrating
ability for hardening soft areas and preventing the propagation of cracks. Furniture

Helpful Hints:
This glue is FAST!! It travels fast and sets up fast. It will bond skin instantly. Because of this glues wicking ability it will travel along an edge or seam for several inches. It will penetrate deep in to a crack just by applying the glue at one end. When bonding balsa wood, hold the parts together and apply a small amount of glue at the seam where the parts meet. The glue will penetrate the joint and wick into the balsa parts. Don’t hold the balsa to close to the joint or you will find that you are glued to your parts. For porous products you may have to apply more glue to get the strongest bond, it would be best to try bonding some test pieces to determine the proper amount. When sealing and hardening wood parts use in a well ventilated area and work on small sections. Do not use kicker with this glue, in most cases the glue will have set before you can apply the accelerator. For critical applications test sample joints for designed strength requirements.

Helpful Hints:
A little goes a long way! More glue doesn’t always mean a stronger joint. Only apply
enough glue to evenly coat the area to be bonded when the parts are joined. Many
times glue needs to be applied only to one part. Working or positioning time will
vary depending on the material. Even though ZAP-
SLO ZAP CA Is called a thick formula. The thicker the formula, the slower the cure
time, that’s why we call it SLO ZAP. Although it is thick it is still a liquid and
will flow. Penetration into porous materials is very minimal. SLO ZAP is an excellent
gap filler and provides extra time when positioning wood parts. In modelling its
ideal for laminating wood parts and forming fillets. Because its thick, it will not
run, it forms a very clean even fillet around all types of joints. The high cured
strength means it works great on higher stress areas. This is a specialty glue and
mostly used in modelling, wood working, antique furniture repair, and mould / pattern
shops. Wood turners use this product as the final filler when repairing larger cracks.

Helpful Hints:
This glue is SLOW but STRONG!! Use it on harder types of wood. For maximum strength let SLO ZAP cure on its own, best accomplished by providing some light to medium clamping pressure on the pieces to be joined. SLO ZAP will set up faster when sprayed with kicker, the outside will cure immediately but still allow about 30 seconds to allow the inside to fully cure. To speed the cure time and still have a few seconds of positioning, spray ZIP KICKER on one part, let dry, apply SLO ZAP to the other, then join the two parts. When fixing furniture joints, separate the parts if possible, treat the tenon or rung with ZIP KICKER, making sure not to get any on the other part, let the kicker dry, put SLO ZAP in the mating part and join the two together. When using on fibreglass cloth or fabric spread it across the material with an old playing card, business card, or a soft plastic spreader. For critical applications test sample joints for designed strength requirements.

PLASTI ZAP CA++ Is a specialty CA adhesive developed for use on plastic and vinyl items. Most plastic modelling projects can be assembled with PLASTI ZAP CA++ and very small amounts of ZIP KICKER.The special formula in PLASTI ZAP CA++ allows it to screen out any mould release agents resulting in a permanent bond in 15 to 30 seconds. The joint can be filed and sanded in a minute or so, allowing extra fast assembly.
Helpful Hints:
Apply small drops of PLASTI ZAP CA++ to one surface only then mate the parts. For large or long seams apply small drops 1/4 to 1/2 inches apart, one side only, along the entire seam, then join parts. Be careful to keep your fingers away from the glued joints until cured, this glue will bond your skin instantly to your model. For bonding chrome parts, scrape the chrome off of the bonding areas then apply the glue to one side only.If you want to use ZIP KICKER, apply very small amounts with a fine brush or tooth pick. You do not need to apply kicker to the entire joint. For critical applications test sample joints for designed strength requirements.

IDEAL FOR LEXAN
POLY ZAP Is a specialty CA adhesive developed for use on today’s newer plastics. Lexan is one of the more difficult plastics to bond, and POLY ZAP was developed to solve that problem. POLY ZAP also works with delron, polycarbonate, ABS, styrene, nylon, and most acrylics. It works on may types of films and painted surfaces. Its perfect for today’s ARF type models. ABS cowls, canopies, lexan car bodies, fibreglass repair, model boat parts, and automotive trim are just a few of the many applications for POLY ZAP.
Helpful Hints:
Apply small drops of POLY ZAP to one surface only then mate the parts. For large or long seams apply small drops 1/4 to 1/2 inches apart, one side only, along the entire seam, then join parts. Be careful to keep your fingers away from the glued joints until cured, this glue will bond your skin instantly to your model. To prevent fogging of clear parts do not use an accelerator. If you want to use ZIP KICKER, apply very small amounts with a fine brush or tooth pick. You do not need to apply kicker to the entire joint. When repairing fibreglass, spread POLY ZAP evenly over the entire area and let cure. For critical applications test sample joints for designed strength requirements.

WORKS WHERE OTHERS WON'T
ZAP GOO bonds wood to fibreglass, metal to wood, plastic to metal, just about anything
to anything with a strong flexible bond. ZAP GOO is an excellent adhesive for today's
high tech composite aero plane, boat, and car hobby products, and great for all of
those fix-
Helpful Hints:
ZAP GOO takes 24 to 36 hours to full cure and reach maximum strength. All parts to be glued should be clean and dry. Apply GOO to both parts, let dry for 1 to 2 minutes then assemble. Clamp or set aside to dry, do not disturb the bonded joint until dry. When applying GOO, a slight hesitation in pulling the tube away from the glue will prevent stringing. For disassembly, ZAP GOO bonds can be cut with a razor knife.
